Our portuguese-style house with spacious terrace is located in the historical center of Trafaria. This village is very family-friendly and known for it's amazing fresh fish and seafood as it is where the Tagus river meets the ocean. Shops, restaurants and public transport are on your doorstep. Going to Lisbon is super easy as the ferry is 300m from the house!!! Trafaria has a nice beach, but the best beach can be found in Costa da Caparica, which is 10 minutes by bus or bike (2.4km).

The house is a typical single-level Portuguese house with 3 bedrooms (double bedroom, twin bedroom and bunk beds bedroom). The bathroom has been modernized; the kitchen is spacious, has all needed appliances and kitchenware. You can have your meal in the kitchen area, or eat on the terrace. The terrace is beautiful, spacious(80m2) and apart from a lounge/dinner area it has a BBQ and a Pizza oven. Most of our guests enjoy having their meals in the terrace either homemade or by picking it up from the restaurant that is located a couple of steps from the house.
We kept the house with a traditional charisma but with all the needed comforts.

The living room has entertainment: there is a TV, Netflix, Playstation, family games and books.

Unser Haus im portugiesischen Stil mit großer Terrasse befindet sich im historischen Zentrum von Trafaria. Dieses Dorf ist sehr familienfreundlich und bekannt für seine erstaunlichen frischen Fisch und Meeresfrüchte, wie es ist, wo der Fluss Tejo das Meer trifft. Geschäfte, Restaurants und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel befinden sich direkt vor der Haustür. Die Fähre nach Lissabon ist nur 300 m vom Haus entfernt!!! Trafaria hat einen schönen Strand, aber der beste Strand befindet sich in Costa da Caparica, 10 Minuten mit dem Bus oder Fahrrad (2,4 km).

Das Haus ist ein typisches einstöckiges portugiesisches Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern (Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und Schlafzimmer mit Etagenbett). Das Badezimmer ist modernisiert, die Küche ist geräumig und verfügt über alle notwendigen Geräte und Küchenutensilien. Sie können Ihre Mahlzeiten im Küchenbereich einnehmen oder auf der Terrasse essen. Die Terrasse ist wunderschön, geräumig (80m2) und hat neben einer Lounge/Essbereich auch einen Grill und einen Pizzaofen. Die meisten unserer Gäste genießen es, ihre Mahlzeiten auf der Terrasse einzunehmen, entweder selbst zubereitet oder vom Restaurant, das nur ein paar Schritte vom Haus entfernt ist, abgeholt.
Wir haben das Haus mit einem traditionellen Charisma, aber mit allem notwendigen Komfort ausgestattet.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely home for 4 months. The outdoor terrace is wonderful for outdoor time and the ferry is a 5 minute walk away for trips to Lisbon. (It only takes 25 minutes and lands in Belem.) The owners were always available to answer any questions or help with anything we needed. There is a small grocery at the corner that has the friendliest owners and there are larger grocers at the town square, a block away. Sabores ao Quadrado restaurant at the corner has delicious, fresh grilled seafood and a daily menu for €8.50 that includes a 1/2 carafe of red or white wine. Antiga Casa Marítima restaurant on the small boardwalk has a view across the river of Lisbon and the best arroz de tomate and fried tamboril. Costa da Caparica is less than 10 minutes away by bus or Uber and has the most amazing beaches. All in all, a great stay and we recommend for anyone that wants easy access to Lisbon without being in the middle of the city. It's a delightful retreat.

Joana's place is beautiful. She is an exceptional host. She goes above and beyond to help in anyway. She is wonderful. The house is a beautiful Portuguese house. It is located in a quaint village close to the beach. There are bakeries and cafe's a short walk away. There are small markets and a pharmacy. You have everything you would need close by. It is wonderful to take the ferry to Lisbon. It is also nice to come back from a busy city and be in a quiet village. The patio is perfect. This place a so good for families. I really can't say enough about our stay. It was just where we needed to be. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. You will enjoy your stay here. I highly recommend it. Thank you Joana and Authur, it was so wonderful ♥️
