Apartment is situated in authentic 100 years old house, ground floor, new adapted. Original stone walls and many details give character to our central located place. Kitchen is full equipped. Internet is flat rate and average speed is 15-20mbps. Nearby is open gym for free. It is 5 min from sand beach Bacvice and 7 min from Diocletian palace, there are groceries, restaurants and bars in a few min walking. Free parking on street. You'll have pleasure to feel unique Split spirit and enjoy it.
Our central located Happy Jackdaw apartment consists one room with 2 single beds (they are set up as 1 queen size bed as you can see on the photos but can be separated) and couch for 1, full equipped kitchen and artistic bathroom.
Towels, blankets and sheets you will find in apartment and if you stay one week or more I will leave an extra one. We dont keep tv in apartment because nobody asked for it, but on your request we can bring one.
Full equipped kitchen (all dishes inside if you want to cook for yourself) is decorated in traditional style with a lot of stuff that nobody use anymore. Old sink made of stone now is cute little "garden" with green plants and flowers. I noticed that some of my guests buy spice herbs in pots and they didnt know where to keep it. Now there is stone sink, perfect for any kind of pots. There is a wash machine if you will need it. In the fridge you will find juice, milk, butter, jam and some other basics and on the table is bread, sugar, instant coffee, tea and toaster for hot sandwiches. We are keeping some basic stuff for cooking; pasta, rice, spices, olive oil, vinegar... There are air conditioner and wi-fi in apartment (no extra charge for it).
Our idea was to decorate bedroom as crazy boat on the sea with a lot of postcards that will inspire you to explore some far places. Furniture in the bedroom is original old furniture that my great-grandparents used long time ago. There is sewing machine that belonged to my grandmother and is about 90 years old, ancient suitcases transformed in small table, lighthouse and book shell in shape of tree... Double bed is comfortable because of brand new madras, but after removing madras I can separate it into 2 single beds. Couch can be bed for 1 guest. For babies we have baby travel cot and linden.
Bathroom is one huge orange tulip, modern and completely new.
We had a lot of fun during making all these decorations, I hope you will enjoy it during your stay here:)

Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Internet ist Flatrate und durchschnittliche Geschwindigkeit ist 15-20mbps. In der Nähe befindet sich ein kostenloser Fitnessraum. Es ist 5 Minuten vom Sandstrand Bacvice und 7 Minuten vom Diokletianpalast entfernt, Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Restaurants und Bars sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Kostenloses Parken auf der Straße. Sie werden das Vergnügen haben, den einzigartigen Geist von Split zu spüren und zu genießen.
Unsere zentral gelegene Happy Jackdaw Wohnung besteht aus einem Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten (sie sind als 1 Queen-Size-Bett eingerichtet, wie Sie auf den Fotos sehen können, aber getrennt werden können) und Couch für 1, voll ausgestattete Küche und künstlerischen Bad.
Handtücher, Decken und Bettwäsche finden Sie in der Wohnung und wenn Sie eine Woche oder mehr bleiben, werde ich eine zusätzliche verlassen. Wir haben keinen Fernseher in der Wohnung, weil niemand danach gefragt hat, aber auf Ihren Wunsch können wir einen mitbringen.
Die voll ausgestattete Küche (alles Geschirr ist vorhanden, wenn Sie selbst kochen wollen) ist im traditionellen Stil eingerichtet mit vielen Dingen, die niemand mehr benutzt. Das alte Waschbecken aus Stein ist jetzt ein niedlicher kleiner "Garten" mit grünen Pflanzen und Blumen. Mir ist aufgefallen, dass einige meiner Gäste Gewürzkräuter in Töpfen kaufen und nicht wissen, wohin damit. Jetzt gibt es ein Waschbecken aus Stein, perfekt für jede Art von Töpfen. Es gibt auch eine Waschmaschine, falls Sie sie brauchen. Im Kühlschrank finden Sie Saft, Milch, Butter, Marmelade und einige andere Basics und auf dem Tisch stehen Brot, Zucker, Instantkaffee, Tee und ein Toaster für heiße Sandwiches. Wir haben einige grundlegende Dinge zum Kochen; Nudeln, Reis, Gewürze, Olivenöl, Essig... Es gibt eine Klimaanlage und Wi-Fi in der Wohnung (keine zusätzlichen Kosten).
Unsere Idee war es, das Schlafzimmer als verrücktes Boot auf dem Meer mit vielen Postkarten zu dekorieren, die Sie dazu inspirieren werden, ferne Orte zu erkunden. Die Möbel im Schlafzimmer sind originale alte Möbel, die meine Urgroßeltern vor langer Zeit benutzt haben. Es gibt eine Nähmaschine, die meiner Großmutter gehörte und etwa 90 Jahre alt ist, alte Koffer, die in einen kleinen Tisch umgewandelt wurden, einen Leuchtturm und eine Bücherschale in Form eines Baumes... Das Doppelbett ist bequem, weil es mit nagelneuen Matratzen bezogen ist, aber nachdem ich die Matratzen entfernt habe, kann ich es in 2 Einzelbetten trennen. Couch kann Bett für 1 Gast sein. Für Babys haben wir Baby-Reisebett und Linde.
Das Badezimmer ist eine riesige orangefarbene Tulpe, modern und völlig neu.
Wir hatten eine Menge Spaß bei der Herstellung all dieser Dekorationen, ich hoffe, Sie werden es während Ihres Aufenthalts hier genießen:)

After traveling all around the world (it would take too much space to count all countries, it is enough to say that our favorite are those with eternal summer like Canaries islands, Cuba...) I found out that every single part of Earth is gorgeous in unique way and every destination is desirable. Traveling and getting know all diversity of this wonderful world will teach you that. It is the reason why I prefer private accommodation or small hostels; in those places you can get familiar with owners and neighbours, you can learn so much about local customs and way of life. I try to make my guests feel like home and Im willing to help you organise your days and provide all information you want to. Split is small town and my guests who stay longer than 2-3 days used to say that they don't have anything to do. To make their days enjoyable I started to organise small tours around Split by car; my guests have a chance to experience all miracles of the beautiful Split region and I get more and more ideas where to take them and what to show. After returning home, I want you to say that our beloved Split and gorgeous region around it capture your hart for good. My husband and I reconstructed this apartment and decorated it with a lot of love. I hope you will enjoy here.
