En el l exterior no hay jardín vallado ni piscina de diseño, ni barbacoa pero en cuanto abres la puerta, tienes campo, montaña, aire puro y silencio.
Dúdar es ese lugar que no sabías que necesitabas hasta que lo pisas. Cerca de la capital pero parece otro planeta (uno con cabras, caballos, olor a chimeneas y gente que te saluda por la calle).

Dúdar ist dieser Ort, von dem du nicht wusstest, dass du ihn brauchst, bis du ihn betrittst. Nah an der Hauptstadt, wirkt aber wie ein anderer Planet (einer mit Ziegen, Pferden, dem Geruch von Kaminfeuern und Leuten, die dich auf der Straße grüßen).

However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Dissapointing behavior from the apartment’s owner:
Due to a personal situation we rented the apartment at Calle Horno for an indefinite period and made our situation clear to Encarni, the house owner, from the start.
She told us repetitive times that “we could count on renting the apartament for as much time as we needed” and we took her word for it.
After having rented the apartament for various months - and having been responsible and respectful tenants, we received a 17 days notice from her behalf telling us that we should leave the apartment.
This message took us by surprise since it was the opposite of what she had previously communicated to us, and it of course created many problems for us given the short time notice.
We paid each and every rent on time, took good care of the apartment and premises, followed all house and coexistence rules to the letter. Thus, it is needless to say that we were treated unfairly by the house owner and that her actions were not only cruel, but also inhumane. We would have expected at least a one-month’s notice.
Other than this it is worth mentioning that the apartment is in a reasonable condition. The village is around 25 minutes from Granada by bus and the bus comes almost every hour (but not every hour), except on Sundays when the bus only comes around 3 times. There are no supermarkets/shops in the village, you can just find two restaurants - one that opens most days in the week and another one that opens like once a week. Therefore, if you are looking for convenience, this is not the best option.
Dúdar is nice with its mountain views and the river passing by, and the locals are mostly friendly.
The house’s neighbor is not the friendly-est though. He complained a few times about “noise” coming from our TV (although it was being played at a normal volume), and he also complained a few times about the kids who used to play in front of the house - also because of the “noise” they used to make. He even threw a few eggs at them once…
