Spacious (by European standards), bright flat in the middle of Ericeira on the second floor, no lift unfortunately. Large living room with foldable desk, one ergonomic chair, dining table, sitting area and smart TV. I work from home and can confirm the internet is very fast. Large kitchen with small balcony from which there is a tiny sea view in the distance. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher (getting fixed atm - should be working by August), fridge-freezer, and a washer-dryer laundry machine. Recently renovated bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen. Both bedrooms have great light in the morning.
The flat is in the center of Ericeira close to beaches (5min walk) restaurants, cafés, shops, market, bars and anything else the town has to offer. The flat is on a residential street, so noise is kept to a minimum and the windows have very good soundproofing should there be any noise. Happy to provide tips of where to go for basics or specific things of course (i.e. good coffee, best bread, etc.)! You will likely find everything walking around anyway and it's probably more fun to 'discover' rather than follow advice :)
Please remove shoes immediately after entering the flat. No smoking indoors, only on the balcony, please. Please be aware that the floor is wooden and can get damaged by water (particularly if you come back in a wet wetsuit/with a wet surfboard, please make sure to keep the wooden floor dry). This is my home and would love to exchange with people who will take care of it :) I’m slightly allergic to dog hair and rather allergic to cats, so no pets for long stays unfortunately. My flat is not specifically set up for children, but happy to accommodate in as far as possible.

Großes Wohnzimmer mit klappbarem Schreibtisch, einem ergonomischen Stuhl, Esstisch, Sitzecke und Smart-TV. Ich arbeite von zu Hause aus und kann bestätigen, dass das Internet sehr schnell ist. Große Küche mit kleinem Balkon, von dem aus man in der Ferne einen winzigen Blick aufs Meer hat. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet mit Geschirrspüler (wird gerade repariert - sollte bis August funktionieren), Kühl-Gefrierschrank und einer Waschmaschine mit Trockner. Kürzlich renovierte Bäder, Schlafzimmer und Küche. Beide Schlafzimmer haben viel Licht am Morgen.
Die Wohnung liegt im Zentrum von Ericeira in der Nähe der Strände (5 Minuten zu Fuß), Restaurants, Cafés, Geschäfte, Markt, Bars und alles, was die Stadt zu bieten hat. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer Wohnstraße, so dass der Lärm auf ein Minimum beschränkt ist und die Fenster sehr gut schallisoliert sind, falls es doch einmal Lärm geben sollte. Gerne gebe ich Ihnen Tipps, wo Sie die wichtigsten Dinge kaufen können (z. B. guten Kaffee, das beste Brot usw.)! Sie werden wahrscheinlich sowieso alles finden, wenn Sie herumlaufen, und es macht wahrscheinlich mehr Spaß, zu "entdecken", als Ratschläge zu befolgen :)
Bitte ziehen Sie sofort nach Betreten der Wohnung die Schuhe aus. Bitte rauchen Sie nicht in der Wohnung, sondern nur auf dem Balkon. Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Fußboden aus Holz ist und durch Wasser beschädigt werden kann (besonders wenn Sie mit einem nassen Neoprenanzug oder einem nassen Surfbrett zurückkommen, achten Sie bitte darauf, dass der Holzboden trocken bleibt). Dies ist mein Zuhause und ich würde gerne mit Leuten tauschen, die sich darum kümmern :) Ich bin leicht allergisch auf Hundehaare und eher allergisch auf Katzen, also leider keine Haustiere für längere Aufenthalte. Meine Wohnung ist nicht speziell für Kinder eingerichtet, aber glücklich, in so weit wie möglich unterzubringen.

Hello all, I first moved to Ericeira to work remotely close to the surf during the pandemic. Before I knew it, I fell in love with Ericeira and bought my home in the middle of town. *Please note: I generally do not accept bookings more than three months in advance. I apologise for the inconvenience.* The flat has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a large kitchen and large living room. There is also a fireplace for the winter months. Off the kitchen there is a small balcony only just large enough for two to have breakfast from which a sliver of sea is visible in the distance. My favourite part about the flat, aside from the location, is the light - it is always bright and the sunsets over the terracotta rooftops are lovely. The flat has everything you would need in terms of equipment for living and working remotely - I live here when I am not working abroad and I truly love it. No pets or parties allowed. There are two beaches are within short walking distance of the flat - Praia do Sul and Praia dos Pescadores. The other beaches are a short drive away. There are two co-working spaces within walking distance - one is 200m away and the other around 5-10min walk. The flat is on a street where there are no bars or restaurants, but there are many options within 5-minute walking distance. My work sadly takes me out of the country for months but this lets me share the Ericeira experience with others. I'm a keen surfer and pastel de nata addict (best pastel de nata in Lisbon region is 200m from the flat). If you have any questions about the area, the flat, or anything do let me know.
