This property is a perfect refuge for artists or students of any age. It is a newly renovated, antique, spacious ground floor apartment consisting of 2 vaulted limestone structures with 2 lofts. One loft above the sitting-room has the main bedroom with a private en-suite bathroom. The second loft has a single bed and is located above the kitchen and dining-area with working fireplace. This house is very particular in that it is completely limestone and open space it is good for entertaining because of the spacious lay-out and large kitchen.
It is located in the historical center of the Sassi of Matera in a traditional 'lamione'. Piazza Vittorio Veneto is 60 seconds on foot and is near a local wet market, about 2 minutes from a supermarket and pharmacy and 10 minutes from the bus station. You can also find private parking 350 meters from the house.
