I'll start renting my apartment now as I am not living there for a while. It has a nice atmosphere, surrounded by nature in the countryside of Porto and 10min walking distance to different beaches (Canidelo);
Sergio is a great host and the apartment is amazing! very close to supermarkets, beaches and cafes.

It was great experience to rent an apartment from Sergio! He was always helpful, easy to contact, and very friendly. Also, the apartment was very well equipped and perfectly cleaned, located just 7 min by foot to the ocean! I highly recommend this place in Porto (Canidelo) for both short and long term stay.
Neighborhood
The neighborhood is safe and calm, people are friendly there. It is only 15-20 min drive to Porto city center. However, a public transport connection is rather poor. I would recommend Uber/taxi, which costs around 4-7 EUR to get to Porto (depending on hours).
The only problem for me was that locals living in private houses sometimes let their dogs out at night, so you have to keep it in mind when going on a night walk after 9 pm.
