Clean an quiet place, looks exactly like in pictures, no catches. Kind and communicative landlord. Would stay here again!

This flat was perfect! Personal touches and fun art made it feel like home and not just another apartment. Good lighting, comfy bed, and curtains that kept it from getting too bright in the morning. Alena was a fantastic, helpful, and responsive host. Amazing neighborhood with great coffee shops (Parlor!), multiple tram options within a 1-minute walk, and a metro just a 6 or 7 minute walk away.

It did stay pretty hot inside for days on end. There is no A/C, but that is pretty much everywhere in the city, and I gathered from many locals that it was an unusual hot spell. There can also be a bit of noise coming up from the common courtyard in the morning, so if you need deep quiet to sleep, bring your ear plugs!

Neighborhood
Lots of businesses and options for restaurants, coffee shops, groceries, and even some second hand stores. Felt a lot more like a locals neighborhood than tourists.

Me and my partner stayed at Alena's apartment for 6 months and she was always helpful. We had some issues with the flat and Alena would always be there to help. She always found solutions and we could always count on her. The apartment is a bit small but it has everything you need, the location is perfect as it has supermarkets, cafés and anything else you might need close. It's also a 10 minute walk to the center of Prague.

Alena is a fantastic landlady and was very hospitable. A couple of issues I had early on were dealt with quickly and in a friendly manner. The flat has everything you need for a short stay and I was comfortable there for 10 weeks.

Alena has recently acquired the property but it has clearly been a holiday rental for several years and as such has been somewhat neglected. It needs some work, a lick of paint and some new appliances, as well as some new bedding and towels to be truly worth the rental value. However, I have no doubt that Alena and her family will work to make improvements to the property and in the future it will be an absolute gem.

Neighborhood
This area of Karlin is fantastic for transport links and has a wealth of bars, restaurants and pubs in the local area. It has a laid back and friendly vibe while being close to the historic centre. With two (out of three) metro lines and a host of trams and bus services you can be almost anywhere in Prague in 30 minutes or less.

Recommended places nearby
For excellent food: Kro Bistro, Spojka, Cafe Frida and Sangam all did great food. For some of Cesko's excellent beer: Dva Kohouti, Kasarna Karlin and Lokal are all good options.

The apartment is very cosy and has an interesting style. There were so many items for the perfect stay for a few weeks, namely pans, cups, coffee machine, oil, salt, spices etc. It is close to the metro and not far away from the city centre so the location is great. Alena is a helpful host.

Karlin is a vibrant district with lots of places to eat and nice buildings.

I'd recommend Pho Viet Huong but beware of the portions' sizes.

Tenhle byt má opravdu duši! Skvělá lokalita, návyková atmosféra živé pavlače a skutečně nadstandardní vybavení (od super kávy až po šroubovák). Navíc majitelka je víc než milá a fakt se snažila, aby nám nic nechybělo. Pro dlouhodobejsi pobyt bych ocenil větší okna, ale neni to nic, co by prochazka na Vitkov nespravila :) Rozhodně doporučuji!

Karlín je tlukoucí srdce Prahy - kavárny, bistra, startupy

Byt byt utulny, velmi prijemny, hezky vybaveny, postel velmi pohodlna. Lokalita super- občanská vybavenost, pesky do centra a veškerá doprava na blizku.
Majitelka je ochotna a mila a byt rozhodne doporucuji!
