Air-conditioned charming 3 bedroom apartment in a 1870's building in the very heart of Budapest, in a quiet street at the Palace Quarter, a few steps from the National Museum.
What we love most about our home is the peace-in-the-city feeling while being in the very heart of Budapest. Some sights are within walking distance and you can reach all major sights in 20-30 minutes by public transport. You have 3 metro lines to choose from (M3, M4 and M2) and many trams, buses, night buses available within a few minutes walk. The National Museum with its magnificent Garden and beautiful greenery is a few steps away. We have a small balcony for a drink and catching the afternoon sunshine.
Being our second home, the apartment is equipped to provide comfort. Amenities include air-conditioning in all rooms (3 units), free wi-fi, cable TV, Nespresso coffee machine, built-in hob, microwave, toaster, iron, washing machine, dishwasher, etc.
Our neighbourhood is undergoing gentrification resulting in an up and coming area with nice galleries, cafés, terraces and restaurants, etc. We genuinely believe that the Palace Quarter is currently the best area to stay in Budapest if you prefer to stay somewhere characteristic where you still find locals not only tourists and offices.

Was wir am meisten an unserer Wohnung lieben, ist das Gefühl der Ruhe in der Stadt, während wir uns im Herzen von Budapest befinden. Einige Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar, und mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln kann man alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten in 20-30 Minuten erreichen. Sie haben die Wahl zwischen 3 U-Bahn-Linien (M3, M4 und M2) und vielen Straßenbahnen, Bussen und Nachtbussen, die nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt sind. Das Nationalmuseum mit seinem herrlichen Garten und den schönen Grünanlagen ist nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Wir haben einen kleinen Balkon, auf dem Sie einen Drink nehmen und die Nachmittagssonne einfangen können.
Da die Wohnung unser zweites Zuhause ist, ist sie so ausgestattet, dass sie Komfort bietet. Unser Viertel befindet sich in der Gentrifizierung und ist ein aufstrebendes Viertel mit schönen Galerien, Cafés, Terrassen, Restaurants usw. Wir glauben wirklich, dass das Palastviertel derzeit die beste Gegend in Budapest ist, wenn Sie es vorziehen, an einem charakteristischen Ort zu wohnen, wo Sie noch Einheimische und nicht nur Touristen und Büros finden.

I've had my daily caffeine boost at Apricot Cafe (great taste in music and beans), but complemented with with the superior pastries from Anton, literally steps away.

Anton's has the best croissants and Apricot is a sweet place for a morning coffee. The India restaurant around the corner has some of the best Indian food I've ever tasted! There are little playgrounds nearby if you have kids and greenspace everywhere.
