A secret corner in the shadow of the Anaga Massif and on the shore of the immense Atlantic Ocean. This accommodation is an 'Oasis' by the sea, a haven of calm, untamed and wild, for those who want to get lost somewhere between the lush green of the mountains and the eternal blue of the sea. From its doorstep, trails start to get lost in nature and natural pools and black sand beaches are reached only known by locals or those looking for a different experience.

This Oasis is a small house located in a lost hamlet, in the Taganana area. It is a haven of peace, lulled by the murmur of the waves, and only interrupted by the occasional sound of seabirds. It is located a few meters from the sea and at the foot of the Anaga Massif, Natural Park.

The Oasis is calm for all types of guests: for those who love nature, practically from the accommodation, trails start that go into the Anaga Massif, an authentic prehistoric jewel. For lovers of the sea, a few meters away are some small natural pools and the exotic black sand beach of Tachero, which at certain times of the year presents a sand bank that goes up to 100 meters into the sea.

The decoration of the house combines the most Canarian rustic style with some very selected elements of modernity and comfort. It is divided into three usable floors: accessing from the bottom you reach the cozy and bright living room-kitchen with a sofa bed. It's a nice seating area to have a small snack while food is prepared in their rustic-looking (albeit renovated) kitchen. The kitchen, with its handmade wooden cupboard, has a microwave and all the necessary utensils for the stay.

If we take the stairs, we access the second floor, where the bedroom is located, spacious and bright, from which there is access to a small balcony where you can glimpse the immense sea and the mountains. The bed in the bedroom is a double bed, with the possibility of electronically reclining and separating into two single beds, if the guests so wish. Also, the room has a television for those guests who wish to use it. On that same floor, we find the recently renovated bathroom with a shower tray. On the top floor, we find the best part of this Oasis, its center: the terrace-roof partially covered by a porch (during the sunniest hours) and from which you can see the immense Atlantic Ocean and the Anaga mountains. It is an unbeatable place to soak up the first rays of sun with breakfast or spend the late afternoon and early evening with a good bottle of Malvasia wine from the island.

The accommodation is located in the Taganana area but in a remote hamlet, which is even unknown to many locals. It is accessed through a road that goes down the hill of the Macizo de Anaga to the shore of the beach. Several hiking trails start from the farmhouse that get lost in nature along the coast and up the mountains, for those seeking adventure. In addition, in front of the farmhouse there are numerous practically private bathing areas, such as puddles that are created with the tides and a virgin sandy or pebble beach, also depending on the tides and the time of year. The location in this virgin and secluded area is the magic of this Oasis. Very few know it. Using the car you can also reach the best hiking trails on the island that start from other points of the Anaga Massif, one of the last redoubts of Laurissilva in the world. The Laurissilva is a type of exuberant and prehistoric vegetation that is only preserved on some islands of Macaronesia (Canary Islands and Azores). A few kilometers away by car we also find some of the best beaches on the island, those preferred by the locals and with exotic black sand: Roque de las Bodegas, Almáciga and Benijo.

The best way to access the accommodation is by car. Being in a protected area in the middle of nature and in the middle of hiking trails, the farmhouse is accessed through a narrow dirt road that descends to the sea, so it is recommended to arrive at the accommodation while there is still daylight. There are parking areas in the hamlet, although at certain times of the year and at certain hours it may cost a little more because one of the few inhabitants of the hamlet is there at that time.

Diese Unterkunft ist eine "Oase" am Meer, eine Oase der Ruhe, ungezähmt und wild, für diejenigen, die sich irgendwo zwischen dem üppigen Grün der Berge und dem ewigen Blau des Meeres verlieren wollen. Direkt vor der Haustür beginnen Wanderwege, die in die Natur führen, und man gelangt zu natürlichen Pools und schwarzen Sandstränden, die nur Einheimische oder diejenigen kennen, die eine andere Erfahrung suchen.
Diese Oase ist ein kleines Haus in einem verlassenen Weiler in der Gegend von Taganana. Es ist eine Oase der Ruhe, die vom Rauschen der Wellen eingelullt wird und nur gelegentlich vom Gesang der Seevögel unterbrochen wird. Sie liegt nur wenige Meter vom Meer entfernt und am Fuße des Naturparks Anaga-Massiv.
Die Oase ist für alle Gästetypen geeignet: Für Naturliebhaber beginnen praktisch von der Unterkunft aus Wanderwege, die ins Anaga-Massiv führen, ein echtes prähistorisches Juwel. Für die Liebhaber des Meeres gibt es nur wenige Meter entfernt einige kleine natürliche Pools und den exotischen schwarzen Sandstrand von Tachero, der zu bestimmten Zeiten des Jahres eine Sandbank präsentiert, die bis zu 100 Meter ins Meer reicht.
Die Einrichtung des Hauses verbindet den kanarischen Landhausstil mit einigen ausgewählten Elementen der Moderne und des Komforts. Es ist in drei nutzbare Etagen unterteilt: Von unten gelangt man in die gemütliche und helle Wohnküche mit Schlafsofa. Hier kann man gemütlich sitzen und einen kleinen Snack zu sich nehmen, während das Essen in der rustikalen (wenn auch renovierten) Küche zubereitet wird. Die Küche mit ihren handgefertigten Holzschränken verfügt über eine Mikrowelle und alle notwendigen Utensilien für den Aufenthalt.
Über die Treppe gelangt man in den zweiten Stock, wo sich das geräumige und helle Schlafzimmer befindet, von dem aus man auf einen kleinen Balkon gelangt, von dem aus man einen Blick auf das weite Meer und die Berge hat. Das Bett im Schlafzimmer ist ein Doppelbett, das auf Wunsch in zwei Einzelbetten umgestellt werden kann. Außerdem verfügt das Zimmer über einen Fernseher, der von den Gästen genutzt werden kann, die dies wünschen. Auf der gleichen Etage befindet sich das kürzlich renovierte Badezimmer mit einer Duschwanne. Im obersten Stockwerk befindet sich der beste Teil dieser Oase, ihr Zentrum: die Dachterrasse, die teilweise von einer Veranda überdacht ist (während der sonnigsten Stunden) und von der aus man den riesigen Atlantik und das Anaga-Gebirge sehen kann. Es ist ein unschlagbarer Ort, um die ersten Sonnenstrahlen beim Frühstück zu genießen oder den späten Nachmittag und frühen Abend mit einer guten Flasche Malvasia-Wein von der Insel zu verbringen.
Die Unterkunft befindet sich in der Gegend von Taganana, aber in einem abgelegenen Weiler, der selbst vielen Einheimischen unbekannt ist. Man erreicht sie über eine Straße, die den Hügel des Macizo de Anaga hinunter zum Strand führt. Vom Bauernhof aus führen mehrere Wanderwege in die Natur, entlang der Küste und in die Berge, für alle, die das Abenteuer suchen. Außerdem gibt es vor dem Bauernhaus zahlreiche praktisch private Badeplätze, wie z. B. Pfützen, die durch die Gezeiten entstehen, und einen unberührten Sand- oder Kieselstrand, ebenfalls abhängig von den Gezeiten und der Jahreszeit. Die Lage in dieser unberührten und abgeschiedenen Gegend ist der Zauber dieser Oase. Nur wenige kennen sie. Mit dem Auto können Sie auch die besten Wanderwege der Insel erreichen, die von anderen Punkten des Anaga-Massivs ausgehen, einer der letzten Laurissilva-Schanzen der Welt. Die Laurissilva ist eine Art von üppiger und prähistorischer Vegetation, die nur noch auf einigen Inseln Makaronesiens (Kanarische Inseln und Azoren) erhalten ist. Nur wenige Autokilometer entfernt befinden sich einige der besten Strände der Insel, die von den Einheimischen bevorzugt werden und einen exotischen schwarzen Sand aufweisen: Roque de las Bodegas, Almáciga und Benijo.
Die Unterkunft ist am besten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Da sie sich in einem Naturschutzgebiet und inmitten von Wanderwegen befindet, erreicht man sie über eine schmale Schotterstraße, die zum Meer hinunterführt. Es empfiehlt sich daher, die Unterkunft zu erreichen, solange es noch hell ist. Im Ort gibt es Parkplätze, die allerdings zu bestimmten Jahreszeiten und zu bestimmten Uhrzeiten etwas teurer sind, weil einer der wenigen Bewohner des Ortes zu dieser Zeit dort ist.
