Largest room of the coliving, this room is equipped with a very comfortable king size bed (luxury memory foam mattress), private ensuite fully renovated bathroom and a big desk. The big window opens on Mont Prorel, the ski lift of Serre-Chevalier, and the whole Guisane valley - the perfect view for sunsets.

Located at the edge of the UNESCO protected citadel of Briançon, with unobstructed views down the valley, the house was fully renovated to make it comfy and functional. The bedrooms are on the first and third floors, and the whole second floor is dedicated to common spaces, including a shared fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with two large tables, a chill room with comfy couches, two coworking spaces with ergonomic chairs and soon a skype room. The house also has a washing room (washing machine + tumble dryer), and a big workout room (with yoga matts).
The community is a very important aspect of this stay. Because they believe that when we bring people together, magic happens, they organize many community activities every week. In practice, every Monday evening the team along with the guests define what will happen during the week. Everyone can suggest an activity and is free to join or not. This way, everyone can organize themselves workwise and free their schedule when there is an activity they want to participate in.
So many activities are organized that it is hard to list them all. Things happen both inside - dinners, game nights, workshops... - and outside - thermal baths, hiking, snowboarding… The sky's the limit!

Flora and fauna
This region is known for its pine forests, glaciers, humid zones and altitude rocks. It's a home for a wide variety of natural environments that shelter a diversity of animals and plants. You can often hear the cries of the nutcracker echo in the larch- and silver pine forests. In the mountain grasslands you can spot many insects, among which the beautiful butterfly ‘Apollon’, marmots, voles and their main predator, the ermine.
During your hikes in the mountains, you’ll maybe have the luck to encounter some chamois. Birds like the golden eagle, the owl ‘grand duc’ and the peregrine falcon make their nests in the cliffs. On the steep rocky alpine gradients alpine sometimes you can encounter an ibex or even animals like the ptarmigan (white partridge) that changes its plumage according to the seasons.
Social ecosystem
The accommodation is located in Briancon, Europe’s highest town in the heart of Ecrins National Park and at the foot of one of France’s largest ski resorts, Serre Chevalier.
The UNESCO protected citadel of Briançon, aka “Cité Vauban”, feels like a village within the town. It has its own ecosystem and people living there are referred to as “Gargouillards”. The citadel’s narrow streets host many cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, art galleries, and other wonders. Various guided historical/cultural visits are organized on a regular basis by the city.
There are no official networking spots or meetups but the accommodation organizes a lot of them, especially during winter months.

Coliving- und Coworking-Space für bergbegeisterte digitale Nomaden und Fernarbeiter - ein idealer Ort, um sich inspirieren zu lassen und produktiv zu sein.
Das Haus liegt am Rande der UNESCO-geschützten Zitadelle von Briançon, mit freiem Blick auf das Tal und wurde komplett renoviert, um es gemütlich und funktionell zu machen. Die Schlafzimmer befinden sich im ersten und dritten Stock, und der gesamte zweite Stock ist Gemeinschaftsräumen gewidmet, darunter eine voll ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche, ein Esszimmer mit zwei großen Tischen, ein Chillroom mit bequemen Sofas, zwei Coworking-Spaces mit ergonomischen Stühlen und bald auch ein Skype-Raum. Das Haus verfügt auch über einen Waschraum (Waschmaschine + Trockner) und einen großen Fitnessraum (mit Yogamatten).
Die Gemeinschaft ist ein sehr wichtiger Aspekt dieses Aufenthalts. Weil sie glauben, dass, wenn wir Menschen zusammenbringen, Magie geschieht, organisieren sie jede Woche viele Gemeinschaftsaktivitäten. In der Praxis legt das Team jeden Montagabend gemeinsam mit den Gästen fest, was in der Woche passieren soll. Jeder kann eine Aktivität vorschlagen und ist frei, daran teilzunehmen oder nicht. Auf diese Weise kann sich jeder arbeitsmäßig organisieren und seinen Zeitplan frei gestalten, wenn es eine Aktivität gibt, an der er teilnehmen möchte.
Es werden so viele Aktivitäten organisiert, dass es schwer ist, sie alle aufzuzählen. Die Aktivitäten finden sowohl drinnen statt - Abendessen, Spieleabende, Workshops ... - und draußen - Thermalbäder, Wandern, Snowboarding... Der Himmel ist die Grenze!

Flora und Fauna
Diese Region ist bekannt für ihre Kiefernwälder, Gletscher, Feuchtgebiete und hoch gelegenen Felsen. Sie beherbergt eine große Vielfalt an natürlichen Lebensräumen, die eine Vielzahl von Tieren und Pflanzen beherbergen. In den Lärchen- und Silberkiefernwäldern kann man oft die Rufe des Nussknackers hören. Auf den Bergwiesen kann man zahlreiche Insekten, darunter den wunderschönen Schmetterling Apollon, Murmeltiere, Wühlmäuse und deren Hauptfeind, das Hermelin, beobachten.
Bei Ihren Wanderungen in den Bergen haben Sie vielleicht das Glück, Gemsen zu begegnen. Vögel wie der Steinadler, der Habichtskauz und der Wanderfalke nisten in den Felsen. Auf den steilen felsigen alpinen Steigungen kann man manchmal einen Steinbock oder sogar Tiere wie das Schneehuhn (weißes Rebhuhn) antreffen, das je nach Jahreszeit sein Federkleid wechselt.
Soziales Ökosystem
Die Unterkunft befindet sich in Briancon, der höchstgelegenen Stadt Europas, im Herzen des Nationalparks Ecrins und am Fuße eines der größten Skigebiete Frankreichs, Serre Chevalier.
Die von der UNESCO geschützte Zitadelle von Briançon, auch "Cité Vauban" genannt, wirkt wie ein Dorf in der Stadt. Sie hat ihr eigenes Ökosystem, und die Bewohner werden "Gargouillards" genannt. In den engen Gassen der Zitadelle gibt es zahlreiche Cafés, Bars, Restaurants, Geschäfte, Kunstgalerien und andere Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Stadt organisiert regelmäßig geführte Besichtigungen zu historischen und kulturellen Themen.
